Terms and Conditions

This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the participation in the Fish-For-Life Project, a special initiative by Dr. Ope Banwo in collaboration with Naija Lives Matter. By engaging with and participating in the project, you agree to abide by the terms outlined herein.

1. Eligibility:

Participants must be Nigerian youths between the ages of 18 and 30. The Fish-For-Life  Project is open to individuals with a genuine interest in digital self-employment.

2. Project Deliverables:

  • Free Laptops: 60 selected beneficiaries will receive free laptops to aid in their digital learning and business endeavors.
  • Free Tuition Scholarship: Beneficiaries will have access to a 12-week Digital Business Certificate Course Diploma at the American Internet Business School.
  • Free Business Software: Participants will receive essential business software required to launch and sustain an online business.
  • Free Mentorship/Coaching: Exclusive mentorship and coaching sessions will be provided by top digital trainers. 1 Year Digital Business Internship: 60 youths will benefit from a one-year digital business internship facilitated by Dr. Ope Banwo, including a monthly allowance for data.
  • Job Placements: Successful completion of the course may lead to local and international job placements.

3. Application Process:

Applicants must submit accurate and truthful information during the application process. The selection process will be based on merit and alignment with the project’s goals.

4. Responsibilities of Beneficiaries:

Beneficiaries are expected to actively participate in the entire 12-week Digital Business Certificate Course. Participants should use the provided resources responsibly and solely for educational and business purposes. Successful candidates are encouraged to contribute positively to the learning community and uphold ethical standards.

5. Data and Privacy:

Participants’ personal information will be handled with utmost confidentiality. Data collected during the application process will be used solely for project-related communication and administration.

6. Changes to Project Terms:

The organizers reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions of the Fish-For-Life Project, with any changes communicated in advance.

7. Termination of Participation:

The organizers reserve the right to terminate a participant’s involvement in the project if they violate the terms and conditions or engage in any misconduct.

8. Disclaimer:

The organizers are not liable for any unforeseen circumstances that may affect the implementation of the project, including but not limited to changes in regulations, acts of nature, or unforeseen events.

By participating in the Fish-For-Life Project, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. The success of the project depends on the collective adherence to these guidelines.
