To ensure a fair and professional selection of the 60 beneficiaries of the pilot 60For60 program, here is the selection process and project execution plan:
Stage 1: Join Us For The Free Digital Empowerment Bootcamp to Kickoff the Fish-For-Life Selection Program
The bootcamp is open to everyone. Interested individuals start by registering for the Digital Entrepreneurship Bootcamp. This Bootcamp is a comprehensive, five-day online event open to all aspiring digital entrepreneurs in Nigeria and will form one of the basic criteria for selection as a beneficiary of the one year Fish-For-Life Program. Register now for the 2024 online Bootcamp coming up from 22nd – 26th of April, 2024.
Stage 2: Participation in the FREE for all 5-day Digital Empowerment Bootcamp
This Free For All Training Bootcamp offers a 5-Day intensive training by Dr Ope Banwo to digital entrepreneurship, covering easy to acquire digital skills including Freelancing, Bookpreneurship; Affiliate marketing, Mobile App development; no-code software creation, e-commerce, and more. Learn from seasoned experts and connect with like-minded individuals while giving yourself an opportunity to be selected as part of the 60 finalists to participate in the one year 60For60 Pilot Program.
Stage 3: Qualification Quiz and Interviews of the 60 Beneficiaries
At the conclusion of the summit, participants are required to take a short quiz/test to gauge their readiness for the year long pilot program . This assessment is designed to gauge their understanding of the concepts taught during the bootcamp and their potential to benefit from further training.
Stage 4: Selection of the Beneficiaries of the Pilot Program
Based on the test results, the top 60 performers are selected. These individuals will be the beneficiaries of the ’60For60′ program for that year. The selection is aimed at identifying those who show promise, dedication, and a keen interest in pursuing a career in digital entrepreneurship.
Stage 5: Notification and Enrollment in the Training Program
The selected 60 participants are then notified and enrolled in the ‘Fish-For-Life’ digital business training program. This program includes a combination of online and in-person training sessions, mentorship, and practical experience in digital business.
Stage 6: Fish-For-Life Kickoff Workshop: (3-Day LIVE In-Person Kickoff Workshop At Oriental Hotels, Lagos for all 60 Beneficiaries)
The training of the selected ‘Fish-For-Life’ beneficiaries will begin with an intensive three-day LIVE physical workshop in Lagos, followed by a year-long, comprehensive online digital business training. This training is conducted online with weekly sessions, ensuring thorough coverage of essential digital business skills.
This structured selection process is designed to ensure that the ‘Fish-For-Life’ program benefits motivated and dedicated individuals who are most likely to utilize these skills for their entrepreneurial success and contribute positively to Nigeria’s digital economy.
